She was also playing with her hair quite a bit more than usual, and one day, she came in an outfit which I presume was new because her friends were commenting on how good she looked in it.

With different variations, we essentially had the same interaction for the next four days.

However, next class, when our eyes met, her eyes quickly darted away after I smiled, and she started blushing beet red for the rest of class, every now and then glancing at me, who just looked right back and her with a smile.

After a good half minute of staring directly at each other, both of us smiling, the teacher started class, so we had to break it, but I had a feeling that she was interested after that just based on how she was looking at me.

Still, she kept staring at me throughout, smiling, so I looked back, but then I suppose I got a little shocked and started shifting my eyes from the clock, to the book, to the teacher, to the girl for a bit until returning my gaze back to her eyes.

The next day, she stared at me, smiling, so I looked back and smiled but quickly looked at the teacher because he was saying something important.

One day, she just stared straight at me with a poker face, and I noticed, so I just stared back until she broke eye contact after a sizeable amount of time.
