I'm so worried with her mental state that she'll do something silly (intentional or not) and it kills me to think I could have done more to make her life better.

She gets very aggressive when you try and give her guidance.

Me Dad and Nan have all tried to help her but she puts on a front and wont let us in.

She uses weed and alcohol heavily to cope and she has serious anger issues and struggles to keep a job and pay the bills.

I (somehow) soldiered on and managed to get a degree, a good job in a big city a nice flat and most would consider that I have done well for myself.

Our Dad tries his best but he lacks the compassionate empathy of a mum and if we are upset he'll be quite blunt and give us practical solutions rather than a shoulder to cry on.

She is 22 I'm 27. Our mum died when she was 9 so it's been a rough few years for both of us.
