He insists that he's over her and doesn't care at all about her, but his behavior says otherwise... I don't want to force him to stop talking about her because then I'd be curious and feel bad, but it's a bit much.

They haven't talked since the break up, so I was hurt that he went to his ex that he hated so much for comfort, but I got over it since he was in a vulnerable position.

One time he even reached out to her for comfort, but that was when his father passed away a little over a month ago.

I just am not entirely cool with him comparing our relationship to theirs all the time, since it ended so badly.

Whenever we have issues in our relationship, he always ends up comparing the situation to a similar situation that him and his ex had at some point.

I completely understand if he still talks about her, it's no easy thing to just get over, but he talks about her a bit excessively... A lot of times, when I do something, he'll comment how oddly similar it is to something that his ex did or said.
