My 2.5yr old boy can make different sounds but doesnt know any words?

He had an autism eval done and the lady seemed to think he's showing positive signs but he still needs further evaluation.

He has a lot of ear wax so we are waiting for an appt to get it cleaned since he will not let us do it.

He was in EI at 15 mo old but didnt seem to make a difference, then we started speech therapy for a few months and stopped again because there doesnt to be any improvement.
