My parents have completely blown that out of proportion and think that because I don't have a girlfriend I must be having problems socializing and said that if I don't have a girlfriend by the end of the school year they might make me see a therapist.

For example, if I hang out with one of my girl friends (who was not initially friends with my bf) she will make it clear if just her and I are going out for coffee, or if she is inviting me and my bf somewhere.

I know he is mainly friends with my bf and that's fine, but he just assumes I'll be there because I'm his gf, even though I was friends with this guy at uni too.
