I wonder if women who meet guys who do the same thing tend to come off as a quick conversation and not much else to talk about as far as work goes.

It seems like most of these women work jobs that seem to have very similar projects from one to the next, and I kinda find that boring.

I have met a lot of women who are in finance, are in marketing or sales, or advertising, etc.

I have started going to mixer events for young professionals and one aspect of these events is everyone is single and there is a possibility of finding a date.
