Well, this post is a day late! The last 2 days have been super packed with end of school year activities. School let out for the summer here yesterday! 10 weeks of summer is staring me in the face!A

Jodi:
Yesterday, one of his coworkers came by my job (our jobs are a minute from each other so I see his coworkers a lot) and he was wearing a really ugly company shirt.

The next day, I wrote him and said I was sorry we didn't get a chance to chat, that I hope he had a good Father's Day and that I hope him and the family are doing well.

I saw him at church on Father's Day and he seemed to be looking around for somebody and when he saw me, he smiled and put his hand up to say hello.

Ever since then, things have been awkward.

I imagine it was a valid excuse.

Jodi:
I asked him for a favor a few weeks ago and he said he didn't think he'd be able to do it because he already was helping his neighbor that day.

It was such a good conversation and I always feel I learn a lot from him about different things.

The last time we had some one-on-one conversation, we talked for 45 minutes and he even brought up a money issue he was having with his wife.

The past month, he's been extremely distant.

When I started being friendly with his wife, he started to be a little distant, but not always.
