Then got back together as my Mom was unstable but has stabilized (part of that split was on her). Now the only problem is my Dad's chronic lying and my Mom's addiction to her mother (she loves her mother more then her husband and kids).

The couple was splitting and something happened that must have set off my sister who has never been stable and refused help.
