Why am I not able to get motivated?

I attend a private French school, grades are counted out of 20, I keep getting notes below 10 on almost every subject which is awful.

My friends keep saying like only wear high waisted ones at the beach otherwise guys will think the wrong things but I kinda thing reg bikinis look better and high waist look weird.
