I think it was my sister because the bathroom opened again a few minutes later and then it got quiet, so I wouldn t know what to do if it was her, my brother, or my younger step-sister.

Then, all of a sudden, I hear a knock at my door and I yank my headphone out of my ear.

I used my legs to block the hole from my view, so if someone did look inside the hole, all they would see is my legs covered with a blanket.

It s late at night and I didn t think anyone would be awake, but I stuffed the hole with toilet paper to be safe. (I m a 15 year-old girl, by the way.) I just played a video and put in some headphones.

The only doors in my house with doorknobs and locks are my brother s bedroom which is right next to mine, the bathroom which is right across the hall from me and my step-sister s room that s all the way next to the living room.
